1.5 million USD in funding secured across Duke University, New York University, the University of Copenhagen and University College London (my alma maters), as well as London School of Economics and Political Science, the University of Glasgow, Kyoto University, and many more.
1 acceptance letter from Oxford (which I turned down to come to Copenhagen! Did not regret this decision even once).
3 languages spoken – English, French and Russian.
5+ years in marketing, communications and business development at companies in New York, Sydney, Vancouver, San Jose and now Copenhagen.
I hold a B.A. with Distinction in Political Science from Duke University and an M.S. in Global Development from the University of Copenhagen. Through the interdisciplinary nature of these programs, I developed skills not only in politics and economics, but also in brand design, visual experiences, international business and quantitative analysis that shaped my data-driven approach to communications, marketing and branding.
Over the past seven years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with both Silicon Valley startups and global corporations across roles in marketing, communications, media and development. Now, I’m eager to continue working at the intersection of global business and digital technology and leverage my skills in communications and data analytics to drive positive impact in the world.
In 2017, I travelled abroad for the first time to begin my life-changing academic journey at Duke University. So many great things to come!
In the summer of 2018, I lived in Sydney, where I completed an internship for a consulting agency that supported a national campaign against domestic violence.
In 2020, I was living the dream: travelling around Europe and studying at University College London (but the pandemic had other plans).
In the summer of 2020, I made a rather insane decision: I took a gap year from school and found jobs at the tech startups based in Silicon Valley and Vancouver. All while living in the most beautiful city in the world and admiring the cats!
During my gap year, I found a job as a Marketing & Product Manager at a Vancouver-based startup Checker Software.
In the fall of 2022, I was studying at New York University and preparing to move to Europe upon graduation.
In September 2023, I will be starting a master’s program in Global Development at the University of Copenhagen, where I received a full merit-based scholarship!
